Buzzfeed’s Katie Notopoulos recently wrote an in-depth article, about the ever growing Bored Ape Yacht Club, and published the names of its until now, anonymous founders, Greg Solano and Wylie Aronow, who are also known as Gordon Goner and Gargamel. Apparently Notopoulos went looking through public records for Yuga Labs, the company that started the BAYC, finding documents that connected not only Solano and Aronow, but also two other co-founders, who goes by the online names, Tomato Ketchup and No Sass. Their real names are unknown.
The article has caused quite an uproar in the crypto community, by revealing the identities of the BAYC creators. Mainly on social media, where the founders profile pictures and posts got flooded with supporting comments, while condemning the article and Katie Notopoulos.
