Christie’s to Auction off Pablo Picasso Painting Owned by Sean Connery

The world renowned auction house, Christie’s, will be auctioning off Pablo Picasso’s “Buste d’homme dans un cadre“, from 1969. The painting is expected to sell for $19 million, and showcases Cardinal Richelieu, the literary antagonist in “The Three Musketeers”. The current owner is the estate of none other, than the legendary actor Sean Connery, who passed away in 2020.

The painting will hit the auction block on May 26, at Christie’s in Hong Kong.
