The latest assortment of 14 pieces made its grand debut on the catwalk during GANNI‘s Fall/Winter 2023 presentation at Copenhagen Fashion Week.
This line seamlessly melds form and function, tailor-made for a life on the move, adept at tackling the most demanding weather conditions and ever-changing surroundings. It boasts a selection of materials, including the lightweight, breathable, and waterproof Gore-Tex, as well as Bluesign and Oeko-Tex certified textiles, and it also incorporates Seaqual, a groundbreaking initiative that repurposes 95% recycled polyester sourced from ocean plastic waste.
The design, color palette, and shapes of the collection draw inspiration from the dramatic landscapes and topography of Iceland, which serve as a boundless wellspring of creativity. The collection introduces the enhanced Kria jacket, accompanied by color-blocked cargo skirts, vests and bombers, culminating in a distinctive fusion of practicality and elegance.
“I can’t believe this is our fourth collaboration, we are so aligned as people and as brands. We share the same sense of pride in where we come from and, for this collection, I wanted to go back to our roots and revisit some of those iconic pieces that really make us who we are. This season I’ve been reflecting on our journey and I love how those introspective elements come through in the collection while still being fun and new.”
– Ditte Reffstrup, creative director of GANNI
“Our first collaboration with GANNI launched in 2019 and with FW23 we are launching our fourth. The journey with the GANNI team has been fun, creative and opens up something new every time. Creating a fun and creative space, full of learning is one of the key objectives with collabs, in my opinion. And it’s inspiring to see how both brands bring their unique DNA to the table. I’m thrilled with the result and hope you like it as much as I do.”
