Danish clothing brand Norse Projects has teamed up with the legendary English clothing brand Barbour focused on quality, craftsmanship and attention to detail. For the launch, Norse Projects explored Barbour’s archive to create a selection of outerwear, knitwear and pullovers.
The highlight item is the Ursula Wax coat, which is inspired by Barbour’s Ursula suit, created in 1939 for a submarine officer. Referencing its technical past, the coat is made from a durable cotton / wax blend and a Thermore lining. It will be available in “Navy”, “Burnt Orange” or “Sand”.
In addition, Norse Projects has reinterpreted the Game Fair jacket from the 1960s to create the North Sea parka. With a longer and lighter finish. Other pieces include half-zip knitwear in ‘Gray Marl’ or navy blue, dual-branded T-shirts and accessories such as a water-resistant sports hat and a crossbody bag. Fury Wellington boots complete the collaboration.
The Norse Projects and Barbour collaboration will launch exclusively in the Norse Projects Copenhagen store on August 27, before hitting the Barbour webstore and selected dealers on August 28.
