Uniqlo and Engineered Garments have rejoined forces for a second collaboration, this time within the realm of Uniqlo’s “LifeWear” collection.
Guided by the creative vision of Daiki Suzuki, the mastermind behind Engineered Garments, they’ve embarked on a transformative journey where they reimagine classic American design and merge it with Uniqlo’s unwavering commitment to pioneering fashion and premium apparel. This synergy has given rise to a trio of distinctive clothing items.
The inaugural piece is a hooded quilted overcoat, drawing inspiration from the elegance of a fishtail parka. It will be made available in a sophisticated color palette, including dark gray, black, and deep green. Following suit is a utility-driven quilted jacket, evolved from the functional field jacket, with a rugged cotton exterior, presented in shades of black, brown, and olive green. Completing the trio is a cropped quilted smock, characterized by its voluminous design, which finds its roots in the concept of a flight jacket. This captivating piece can be acquired in both dark gray and navy renditions.
The release date for these highly anticipated creations is slated for Thursday, the 16th, and they will be accessible in carefully selected brick-and-mortar stores as well as the Uniqlo website.
