END’s “Painted” capsule. honors the rich history, heritage and impact of iconic Levi’s products, celebrating everyday wear and the unique patina of workwear infused with a modern twist.
Selected pieces reflect this important history and iconic Levis status, sharing Trucker jackets, 505 jeans, printed tees and a hoodie. All garments with hand-painted splatter, Big E branding and screen-printed logos.
In indigo and black, the 505 jean and trucker jacket come cut in selvedge denim, updated with colorful paint splashes. To complete the collection, a duo of black and white logo tees, along with a hooded sweatshirt, also embellished with some paint.
Coinciding with the launch of the collection, END. and Levis have recorded the short documentary “Making Marks.” Offering the own voice testimony of those who are making their mark, each with a unique creative practice, the film focuses on three UK artists in London, Newcastle and Glasgow, cities where END. has left its mark.
With Kai Isaiah-Jamal, a poet and trans visibility activist from London; Megan Jepson, Newcastle-based filmmaker and photographer; and Trackie McLeod, a Glasgow visual artist and cultural commentator, the film ‘Making Marks’ visits each one in their hometown exploring what their city means to them and how it has shaped them as artists.
The END. x Levis “Painted” capsule will go on sale on END Launches, where registrations are already open.
