There’s no denying that Jacquemus is currently one of the hottest brands in the fashion industry, largely due to the tireless efforts of creative director Simon Porte. As spring reaches its peak, the French fashion house has launched a stunning photo shoot featuring its latest creations transformed into works of art by photographer Théo de Gueltzl.
Jacquemus has been making waves lately with its 3D rendered ‘Le Bambino’ bags spotted on the streets of Paris, and its expansion into interior design with the ‘Objets’ collection. Now, the brand is captivating audiences with a series of “Jacquemus sculptures” that blur the lines between fashion and art.
The photographic campaign by Théo is a testament to Simon’s passion for the world of art and cinema. The images feature a mix of Jacquemus’ latest creations and artistic elements, transporting viewers to a magical world reminiscent of Oz. The looks start with a collage of torn pages from the book ‘Images’, including photos taken on Simon’s iPhone. Other elements include leather goods from the ‘Objets’ collection reimagined as sculptures, daisy appliqués, overlapping bags, quilted denim outfits, and yeti-like furry ensembles.
