The crime film which is based on the story of the investigations, into the two legendary rappers Biggie and Tupac’s notorious murders, was filmed in 2017. Due to rights issues, the film’s premiere was postponed from the original date in 2018 – and now finally, on March 19 2021, the film will see a combined on-demand and cinema premiere.
Ahead of the premiere, a new trailer has now been released, where we look a little more at the film’s main characters – Johnny Depp, who plays retired crime detective Russell Poole – and Forest Whitaker, who plays journalist Jack which is based on Randall Sullivan.
