Dutch car company Donkervoort has created a vehicle, which they call ‘the world’s first 2g car put into production.’
They compare their acceleration program on the car with the Apollo space rocket – we’re talking about the famed D8 GTO-JD70, which only takes 7.7 seconds to hit 200 km / h and 100 km / h in just 2.7 seconds.
A perfect balance between engine power and light weight is made possible – the engine is a 2.5-liter 5-cylinder hustle from Audi with 415 horsepower, while the weight itself is kept below 700 kg due to most of the body kit being made of carbon fiber.
