Gucci has announced the opening of an esports academy, which will be in collaboration with online gaming platform FACEIT. The goal is to help emerging talents, achieve their dreams at becoming professional gamers. Some of the features the academy will offer are mental health training, in collaboration with WHO, contract education, like what to look out for etc.. and personalized training for each individual player.
Gucci already has its first players, who will be supported by the Academy for a period of 12 months, unless they sign up for a professional team first.
