Francesca Larkin (b. 1991) is a Taiwanese-British artist currently based in Aachen, Germany. Her work comes from observing and recreating the visual language of internet culture and image technology seen in surrealist memes, TikToks, social media and app filters. After sifting through the weirdest corners of the internet on her graphic tablet she draws and digitally airbrush these reappropriated images into surrealist scenes and portraits.
