ASICS and Vivienne Westwood has linked up once again. This time on the GEL-KAYANO 27 DE silhouette.
The partnership between ASICS and Vivienne Westwood adds a new silhouette to their collaborations with the GEL-KAYANO 27 DE.
Inspired by the sneaker’s technical shape, Westwood Creative Director Andreas Kronthaler wanted the design to showcase the sneaker’s specialized frame, celebrating the craftsmanship behind the design. The upper fabric is ripstop fabric, traditionally used by the military, and although it is not a running shoe, the midsole and sole maintain the same technologies found in the GEL-KAYANO 27, such as GEL cushioning and technology. DYNAMIC DUOMAX, which work together as part of the IGS (Impact Guidance System). The sneakers will arrive in two colors: Liche Green /Brown and White / Lichen Rock
The ASICS x Vivienne Westwood GEL-KAYANO 27 DE, will be released May 1, on the ASICS and Vivienne Westwood websites and stores.
