    Hi-Tec HTS74 x Sneaker District

by Sera Aksoy January 12, 2023
    written by Sera Aksoy

The iconic Amsterdam-based Sneaker District has just revealed its new collaboration with longstanding partner Hi-Tec HTS74, coming together with a redesigned logo from the hands of legendary artist Boris Tellegen, a.k.a DELTA.

Sneaker-heads from all over the Netherlands come to meet in the Sneaker District located in the Dutch capital. The Amsterdam location has served customers for over a decade with a forward thinking approach that has continuously contributed to their highly sought and successful releases and collaborations with numerous brands that embellish the Sneaker District shelves.

The new and adapted Sneaker District logo comes from the artistry of Dutch artist DELTA. Best known for his 3D lettering style inspired by his time spent studying Industrial Design at Delft Institute of Technology, DELTA has numerously impacted the culture of the design world. His artistry has been highlighted from railways in the Netherlands all the way to a range of Supreme products and a Linkin Park album cover. DELTA is not limited to any one medium or space, making himself known throughout the world in public sculptures and murals to architectural spaces and collectible toys.

From the collaboration comes a reworked HTS Shadow RGS. The colorways for the sneaker have been reworked into a new and exciting unisex green and pink. Both colors also exhibit the DELTA Sneaker District logo adorned on its heel, as well as a dual branded tongue tag residing in a SD tissue and a unique co-branded box. The collaboration comes from a history of mutual long time appreciation for the two partners, which comes to fruition with their subtle twist, identity and values stamped onto two classic, extremely easily-wearable shoes.

Hi-Tec HTS74 x Sneaker District will release the Green/Orange colorway today, whereas the Pink/Brown drops on Thursday 2nd February.

Find the collaboration available exclusively on www.sneakerdistrict.com,  as well as the Amsterdam & Antwerp physical stores.
