Orbital Assembly Corporation is making their fantasies come true, the group has announced plans to begin construction of the Voyager station, a luxury space hotel, in 2025.
The interstellar complex, located in low Earth orbit, can begin to function as early as 2027.
The company has released renderings of the futuristic hotel illustrating 20 “capsules” or bookable rooms, attached to a revolving base similar to a Ferris wheel.
The hotel’s constantly rotating frame will generate artificial gravity, crucial for a safe and enjoyable experience. Luxury amenities include a movie theater, spa, gym, multiple restaurants, and concert venues. Lounges and bars with views of Earth will give occupants a novel view of their home planet.
