Acne Studios and Jonathan Lyndon Chase Craft a Denim Dreamscape at Frieze New York 2025

In a bold fusion of art, fashion, and sensory experience, Acne Studios unveils a transformative capsule collection in collaboration with Philadelphia artist Jonathan Lyndon Chase. Timed with Frieze New York 2025, the Swedish fashion house reimagines its Greene Street flagship store in SoHo as a denim temple celebrating non-normative bodies. From now until 11 May, the space evolves into a living gallery, showcasing new and unpublished works by Chase alongside pieces from the Acne Studios Loves Jonathan Lyndon Chase line.

The collection redefines Acne Studios’ iconic aesthetic through Chase’s vibrant and emotional artistry. The signature bow morphs into a tapestry of intertwined bodies and vulnerable gazes, while 1981 jeans are reimagined with a raw edge. Shirts adopt an intimate diary style, and a blanket and cushions evoke tender affection. Central to the line is an illusion of denim—a reinterpretation of the brand’s foundational fabric that feels both familiar and surreal.

Exclusively available at Acne Studios Greene Street, these pieces will expand to select brand stores and the official website by late June, offering a profound blend of artistic expression and fashion innovation.
