Alright Katya so what brought you to Sri Lanka?
Well, I ended up there, because I am from Russia and I wanted to migrate, and Sri Lanka is a temporary place to live ;D I am staying here nearly one year and might change country soon, I like to travel around Asia for now, but at the end would like to live somewhere in Europe maybe.
Gotya, so how does a regular day look like for you there?
In the mornings i am usually swimming in the ocean, then we have breakfast with some other young guys ( we have a little community in Sri Lanka ) then I am working few hours on my own projects or freelance work and in the evenings I usually go to the beach to watch sunset and eat durian ice cream ;D on the weekends we are trying to travel around the island quite boring village life … I am also feeding a wild civet on my balcony every evening.
Yooo, that video was wicked. What animal is that? Oh, I’ve never heard of a Civet haha
This animal eats coffee beans and shit them out, and it becomes the most expensive coffee in the world, it’s called coffee Luwak ;D
Haha yeah i have heard abot that actually. I have always wanted to try that coffee, just for the experience 😀 have you tried it?
No I didn’t, because farmers are keeping poor animals in cages, in bad conditions, feeding only with coffee. But i’m also curious .
Sri Lanka looks like paradise in the pictures i have seen…
It is! but super boring, there is a need in community or remote job, it’s really wild place and also local people are super cute, but could be annoying, for girls especially ;D
What about Bali? Have you been there? Should be really good for nomad living
I haven’t been there, but I wanna go one day!
I visited Vietnam, Cambodia, Singapore and Malaysia few months ago, and really liked Malaysia, wanna go live there for a while soon.
Wow I’m jealous, i wanna visit those places so bad!
And you are from Denmark? Must be kind of cold there?
Too cold! Always too cold! And dark too.
I know, same in Russia 😀 one of the reasons I wanted to leave, would like to live in Portugal or Spain.
Now there I have been 😀 love both places . I go to Mallorca every year. Have you been there?
I have been only in Barcelona and some places around, few times. But I know Mallorca is very beautiful! Isn’t there too overcrowded in high season? o_O
Love Barca been there many times as well. But yeah, Mallorca does get super crowded during the summer period… Oh btw, anything you think I should add to the text?
Would like to add that when I have free time, I like to watch horror movies and true crime videos on YouTube, and that I like animals a lot. That’s probably it ;D
