The catwalk came alive with a dynamic playlist, encompassing selections such as Lykke Li’s “Late Night Feelings,” Romy’s “Loveher,” and a Mark Ronson remix of the timeless classic by Mina, which served as the muse for the entire collection, titled “Ancora, ancora, ancora.”
Following its viral surge across social media, Gucci has opted to make this reimagined remix accessible through prominent streaming platforms. Mark Ronson expressed his thoughts on this transformative project via his social media channels, saying, “Before Sabato approached me with the idea of featuring the iconic tune ‘Ancora, ancora, ancora’ as the centerpiece for his debut as Gucci’s creative director, I hadn’t even acquainted myself with it. What a remarkable composition. I was captivated by the vocalist’s prowess, the fervor it exudes, and the magnificent orchestral arrangement… It has been an absolute delight to contribute to this endeavor.”
