Cecilie Bahnsen x ASICS Presents Mary Jane Sneakers

    written by OVERSTANDARD

Cecilie Bahnsen, has once again joined forces with ASICS, to create a unique fusion of high fashion and sneaker design. The result is a fresh interpretation of the ASICS GEL GT-2160 silhouette, cleverly blending it with elements of a Mary Jane silhouette.

Bahnsen introduces a feminine twist to the silhouette, defying traditional sneaker norms by offering extended sizing options up to US 10.5. The model showcases a choice of glossy silver or black velcro straps adorned with floral accents. Additionally, it incorporates a lacing system with two eyelets that mimic the appearance of a bow.

In an Instagram post, Bahnsen expressed her admiration for the meticulous craftsmanship and passion that went into this collaboration. She emphasized the artistic essence behind each sneaker. The sneakers themselves are showcased on plinths within a raw space, creating a captivating juxtaposition that merges Bahnsen’s feminine universe with ASICS’ technical allure.

The highly anticipated Cecilie Bahnsen x ASICS collaboration will be released in limited quantities on Bahnsen’s website starting from July 5.
