Merrell 1TRL Moab Speed GTX Zip

by Rubén Palma February 7, 2023
    written by Rubén Palma

Founded in 1981, iconic footwear brand Merrell, has presented an updated version of the popular Moab Speed silhouette, which has been called “Moab Speed GTX Zip 1TRL”.

This updated version arrives in black, birch and coyote/ olive colorways, with a functional zip closure, accompanied by an innovative design, equipped with a GORE-TEX waterproof membrane, synthetic leather & 100% recycled mesh. To finish off the shoe in style, we find a FloatPro Foam midsole and Vibram EcosStep outsole, created from 30% recycled rubber, for max comfort.

To announce the arrival of the Moab Zip GTX 1TRL, Merrell worked closely with Tokyo-based subculture-kings Sabukaru, to produce the campaign. Joining forces with stylist Graeme Gaughan & Paris-based photographer Laurent Segretier.

“To celebrate 1TRL’s latest partnership with GORE-TEX®  Sabukaru looked to progressive architecture and speed performance machinery to form the backdrop to the Moab Zip GTX editorial, where design and durability meet at the intersection of innovation.”

    – Sabukaru

available in black, birch and coyote/ olive.
