Coachella just dropped a bomb in the entertainment and NFT world, by announcing that they will be offering lifetime passes as NFTs, in a collection called “Coachella Keys“. The festival giant plans to auction off the collection, which consists of 10 NFTs, that gives the owners lifetime tickets, as well as “access to Coachella-produced virtual experiences forever.”
Besides the “Coachella Keys Collection”, Coachella also offers the “Sights and Sounds” collection, which consists of “10,000 digital collectibles made up of iconic festival photos and never before heard soundscapes from the Polo Fields. Mint this NFT and randomly receive 1 of these 10 combinations. Each NFT can be redeemed once for a physical art print of the photograph. Each photographer and installation artist receive a sales royalty on their associated NFT.”
And the “Desert Reflections” collection, where you can “Mint this NFT and randomly receive 1 of 10 digital renditions of an iconic Coachella poster from Emek. Each NFT can be redeemed once for a physical copy of Coachella | The Photographs: 1999-2019, an over 400-page coffee table worthy collection of iconic photography showcasing the festival’s fans, art, and artists.”
