Unveiled back in June of 2023, OTW by Vans emerges as a fresh sub-label, celebrating skateboarding not just as a disruptive cultural force but as a driving catalyst for creativity, with a primary focus on collaborative endeavors.

The brand has forged a partnership with the versatile artist Sterling Ruby and his apparel line, S.R. STUDIO. LA. CA., marking the debut of their inaugural collection. The spotlight is on the Vans ‘Clash the Wall’ silhouette, a fusion of elements from four of the company’s most iconic sneakers: the Old Skool 36, the Mid-Scool 77, the Authentic, and the Sk8-Hi. This novel footwear showcases the S.R. STUDIO. LA. CA. logo on the sole and is offered in two vibrant colors – vivid green and neon orange – completely enveloping the entire shoe.

“I loved and still love skateboarding. Everything about skateboarding represents freedom to me, from the rituals of dropping into a vertical ramp or grinding on a curb, the act of skating defies gravity and is, in itself, an act of rebellion,”

    – Sterling Ruby
