Young Thug has finally released his newest album titled “Punk“, where his personal storytelling and unique style, once again proves why he is one of the most interesting and talented hip-hop artists of all time.
On Punk, Thug has added a new level to his lyrics. It’s always been interesting to hear what strange rhymes and verses Thug could come up with, but on the album’s opening track, “Die Slow”, he recalls, among other things, his childhood in Atlanta, where he was close to losing both mother and father, and how he struggled to keep his brother out of jail with lines like, “Told the lawyer that my brother ain’t goin ‘back to prison / I don’t give a fuck if I gotta turn that nigga Jehovah Witness.“
Drake, Travis Scott, Gunna, Post Malone, Future and A$AP Rocky, all bless the album, which is one of thuggas best projects to date. Listen to Punk below.
