Gucci and SUPERPLASTIC have revealed more details about their joint project called “SUPERGUCCI”, which will mark the iconic luxury brand’s expansion into the metaverse. The collaboration will arrive in three parts. It starts off with 10 exclusive NFT pieces, each accompanied by a ceramic sculpture. In the sneak peeks we have seen, the NFTs are inspired by Gucci’s signature desigins and then reinterpreted by SUPERPLASTIC’s virtual influencers Guggimon and Janky. The launch also includes the Gucci Vault, the luxury brand’s experimental online store, which will join the metaverse with a special sale, consisting of restored vintage pieces from the Gucci archive in unique packaging.
The Gucci x Superplastic “SUPERGUCCI” will be released February 1, via Superplastic and Gucci Vault.
