Sustainable clothing brand PANGAIA has teamed up with artist Takashi Murakami for their new collection of sweatshirts and T-shirts to celebrate World Bee Day.
In order to raise funds to guarantee the survival of the bee, the PANGAIA company has created the ‘Bee the Change’ initiative.
For this collection Takashi Murakami has lent his exclusive designs of smiling flowers to which a colorful bee has been added. The shirts and hoodies have been produced in organic and recycled cotton, in cobalt blue, off-white, orchid purple and saffron yellow.
On the back of the shirts is a statement explaining how bees support our ecosystem, while the hoodies feature a dual-brand seal.
The PANGAIA x Takashi Murakami collection will launch online on the brand’s website on May 20, commemorating World Bee Day.
