    READYMADE x Nike Blazer Mid

After months of rumors, the READYMADE x Nike Blazer Mid are finally dropping.
Before the launch, Nike and Readymade’s founder Yuta Hosokawa outlined the inspirations behind the design of the collaboration.

“We deconstructed the Blazer and recreated it without losing sight of its DNA, I have played basketball since I was in third grade. The first pair of shoes I bought were Nikes. This is how I started to like fashion.”

    – Yuta Hosokawa, Founder of Readymade

Reflecting on the Japanese brand’s core design values and Hosokawa’s sense of nostalgia, the READYMADE x Nike Blazer Mid features a deconstructed, DIY approach that reinvents the first Nike basketball shoes. The model features a layered upper with a stained foam base darkened by angled leather side panels. The half-sewn Swoosh branding is thinner and longer, and is taken from the 1971 version of the logo.

Both READYMADE x Nike Blazer Mid colorways will officially launch on February 27 at Nike SNKRS and select stores, priced at approximately € 160 euros.
