Supreme Revives the Golden Age of New York Skateboarding with Zoo York Collaboration

Before the global dominance of Supreme in streetwear, it was Zoo York that ignited the movement’s East Coast flame. Founded in 1993, Zoo York was a trailblazer, pushing back against the West Coast monopoly of the California skate scene. It drew deeply from New York’s graffiti culture, hip-hop roots, and its gritty urban landscape, translating these elements into capsules, drops, and even mixtapes that became cult artifacts.

Now, in Spring 2025, Supreme pays homage with a collaboration that reawakens that raw, tribal spirit. The collectionincludes a lineup of T-shirts, a soccer jersey, hoodies, baggy jeans, shorts, caps, a wool beanie, and even a skateboardand wheels—each piece dripping with nostalgia and visual callbacks to the ’90s.

More than just merch, the drop feels like a love letter—a tribute to a time and place when skateboarding and streetwear were grimy, authentic, and inherently tied to culture: cracked asphalt, impossible curbs, and the soundtrack of Method Man and Ghostface Killah. It’s a celebration of a style born out of environment, not aesthetic performance.

The Supreme x Zoo York collection lands on June 19th, both online and in brick-and-mortar stores.
