At the center of the collaboration is a mutual reverence for heritage and uncompromising function. The collection marks the triumphant return of seam-sealed 3L GORE-TEX to The North Face’s collaborative universe for the first time since 2019, anchoring the flagship Mountain Jacket 2000 in heavy-duty, stormproof protection. Alongside it, the iconic Pertex Nuptse undergoes a sophisticated transformation, re-engineered with an integrated hood, Cloud Down insulation, and a fully reversible inside-out construction tailored for urban winter transit.
Digging deep into the outdoor giant’s late-1990s vault, Teddy Santis and his team have also resurrected the archival Heli Vest—a technical alpine piece famously teased during New York Fashion Week with a co-branded helicopter parked outside ALD’s Mulberry Street flagship. Textured Denali fleeces, plush Fleece Rugby silhouettes, and rugged Base Camp duffels complete the comprehensive lineup, all rendered in ALD’s signature palette of muted earth tones, deep jewel shades, and nostalgic color-blocking.
