The Carhartt WIP SS24 collection adopts a multifaceted perspective, delving into Ivy League-infused sportswear, utilitarian pieces, and vibrant prints. The signature Dearborn canvas and durable denim, available in both rinsed and aged finishes, saturate the brand’s archival pieces like the Detroit jacket and Double Knee trousers. This classic backdrop converges with pieces boasting heart prints, drawn from an archival bandana motif, featuring a short-sleeved shirt, shorts, and a T-shirt. Woven textures, including herringbone, drill, and twill, undergo a vibrant transformation with bright colors and garment-dyed finishes. Introducing the Rainer shirt jacket and shorts this season in magenta and yellow, the collection embraces new dimensions. Soft brushed cotton fabric defines plaid styles like the S/S Mika shirt. Marrying preppy aesthetics with sportswear influences, standout pieces include the Class of 89 bomber jacket and Linus striped shirts adorned with varsity-style embroidery. The Otley line, a fresh addition, showcases sleek satin garments embellished with a tonal square label, featuring a bomber jacket, a travel bag, and a hat. Drawing inspiration from the great outdoors, the S/S24 collection incorporates utilitarian styles and classic military silhouettes. Notable additions include the Madock parka, boasting an A-line fishtail silhouette in unlined single-ply canvas. Accessories adorned with the brand’s new military label complete this eclectic selection.
