Since launching andWANDER in 2011, designers Keita Ikeuchi and Mihoko Mori have been on a mission to revolutionize Japan’s outdoor culture. Their approach fuses a technical precision rooted in mountaineering heritage with the groundbreaking influence of their mentor, Issey Miyake, a titan of fashion renowned for creating garments that flow effortlessly with the body. This blend of practicality and artistry forms the backbone of their innovative designs, setting them apart in the world of outdoor apparel.

Their newest venture, a collaboration with HIDDEN.RSRCH, channels this functional philosophy into a fresh, modern perspective. The partnership shines with pieces like the Fishtail Octa Jacket, a bold reinterpretation of the iconic M-51 parka. This standout item sports a snorkel-style hood, adjustable drawstrings, and stitching in HIDDEN’s distinctive green hue, paired with 3M tapes that dial up its military-inspired flair. It’s a perfect marriage of rugged utility and cutting-edge style.

The collection doesn’t stop there. It also includes a handpicked lineup of oversized t-shirts, a signature of andWANDER’s aesthetic, which weave together the visual identities of both brands. These tees reimagine Japanese cultural motifs with a contemporary twist, crafted from a blend of cotton and COOLMAX for top-tier breathability. The result is a lineup that’s as comfortable as it is striking, appealing to those who value both form and function.
