To celebrate their 15th-anniversary, Taiwanese store Invincible has teamed up with Carhartt WIP for a collection consisting of 7 pieces. Dubbed “Advanced Exploration”, the collection features some of Carhartt’s most iconic designs.
The collection has been designed by Japanese designer Shinsuke Nakada, who has combed through Carhartt’s archives and captured his knowledge of American style on the garments. Nakada has tapped into Carhartt WIP’s utilitarian archetypes in a series of garments that draw inspiration from Taiwan’s outdoor gear and shrimping culture.
The result is a reworked Chore Coat adding pockets inspired by the Detroit jacket, oversized Double Knee Pants with wider pockets and an elastic waist, hoodies, shirts, t-shirts and caps complete the selection.
The Invincible x Carhartt WIP collection will be released March 4, on the Carhartt WIP website.
