Spanish fashion-house LOEWE just unveiled the “Pixel” capsule, which is part of their Spring / Summer 23 collection. The Show by Jules Moskovtchenko, the lookbook reimagines Loewe in a pixelated way.
The pieces that graced the runway, including the hoodie, technical knit top, satin and silk pants, and cotton knit T-shirt adorned with a pixelated anagram, are making waves in the real world. Their shapes and geometry are reminiscent of retro characters’ uniforms, cutting out a pure and nostalgic aesthetic.
The garments as well, with their metaphorical prints blur the boundaries between reality and the virtual realm, creating a unique visual experience. The wide jeans, jacket, and denim skirt elevate the classic chromatic range with dark and light pixelated details, evoking an unmistakable 8-bit vibe.
True to his meticulous attention to detail, creative director, Jonathan Anderson, has gone above and beyond to complete the otherworldly storytelling. A limited edition pixel packaging has been crafted, adding to the allure of the collection.
The LOEWE “Pixel” capsule collection is available now, on the Loewe website and stores.
