Marni x Carhartt WIP

After having teased the collaboration for a while, luxury Italian house Marni, has teamed up with the iconic workwear brand Carhartt WIP, for a collaboration that pays homage to the 70s.

The lookbook, which was shot by 1ENGUA, includes some legendary names from the era, including: Bootsy Collins, Funk artist and member of Parliament Funkadelic, who’s surrounded by guitars and dressed in his legendary top hat, with his wife and grandson by his side.

The collection arrives in quality high-end garments as usual, with green and yellow floral prints. We find the classic Michigan jacket and baggy pants set in raw brown tones with Marni branding. A shirt, a long coat, pants and a skirt.

In the accessory department we find, tote bags and bucket hats.

The Marni x Carhartt WIP collection will be released January 14, on the Marni website and stores.
