Doni Nahmias’ latest collaboration brings racing heritage, Miami heat, and LA luxury into one limited-edition drop
Formula 1 has always understood spectacle. The noise, the speed, the machinery, the glamour, the impossible precision of it all — it is sport as theatre, engineering as myth. Now, with Nahmias, that world is sliding deeper into fashion.
The Los Angeles label has teamed up with Formula 1 on a limited-edition collaboration timed around the Miami Grand Prix, bringing together Doni Nahmias’ West Coast luxury language with the charged visual codes of racing culture. The collection includes tracksuits, sweatshirts, T-shirts, and trucker hats, all filtered through a mood that feels part prep, part pit lane, part sun-baked Miami weekend.
For Nahmias, the collaboration makes sense. The brand has always moved between ease and aspiration: Californian softness, sports references, expensive fabrics, and a kind of laid-back glamour that doesn’t need to announce itself too loudly. Formula 1 brings a different kind of energy — faster, sharper, more technical — but both worlds understand image, performance, and the importance of controlled desire.
There is also a personal thread behind the project. Nahmias has spoken about being drawn into Formula 1 years ago through Charles Leclerc, whose world introduced him to the sport’s mix of danger, design, and obsessive precision. That fascination now becomes product: clothing that doesn’t simply print racing logos onto streetwear, but tries to turn the feeling of the track into something wearable.
The campaign leans into Formula 1’s own mythology, bringing in legendary driver Sir Jackie Stewart and placing the collaboration somewhere between heritage and reinvention. It’s a smart move. F1 has been steadily expanding its cultural reach, and fashion is one of the clearest ways for the sport to speak to an audience beyond the race weekend.
For Nahmias, it is another step in a run of collaborations that treat clothing as event culture. The drop will be available online through Nahmias and Formula 1, as well as through a Miami Design District pop-up running from April 30 to May 4, 2026. Like previous Nahmias releases, it is built around limited availability and first-come, first-served energy — because in fashion, as in racing, timing is everything.
What makes the collaboration work is that it doesn’t feel like Formula 1 trying to become streetwear, or Nahmias pretending to be a motorsport brand. It sits somewhere more interesting: between the paddock and the sidewalk, between old racing glamour and new luxury casualwear, between the fantasy of speed and the very real desire to wear the uniform.
Nahmias x Formula 1 launches April 30, 2026 online and at a Miami Design District pop-up during Grand Prix weekend.
