Presented in a lively spectrum that includes shades of tangerine, teal, vivid azure, pale chartreuse, and petroleum, this fabric employs regenerated ECONYL® threads to emulate the properties of traditional nylon, steering clear of dependence on fossil-derived resources.
Within this collection, there emerges an exclusive rendition of Nylon Metal featuring a large-scale ripstop pattern, strategically employed in the creation of quilted bomber jackets, insulated anoraks, and trousers. The bomber jackets and harmonizing trousers, distinguished by the emblematic Stone Island insignia adorning the sleeve, house delicate feathers specially treated to endure the dyeing process. A groundbreaking dyeing technique integrates a dual-color formulation and a PFC-free water-resistant agent, emphasizing the brand’s dedication to sustainable methodologies.
Noteworthy within the ensemble is the anorak, fortified with PrimaLoft®-TC padding—a fusion of top-tier insulating fibers, with 70% derived from recycled sources. Engineered to withstand Stone Island’s signature dyeing practices, the anorak boasts an adaptable hood with a cinching drawstring and two front pockets centrally positioned on the chest.
The Stone Island “Nylon Metal” collection is available now, on the Stone Island website.
