This week’s Supreme drop is a collaboration with one of the oldest and most respected British lifestyle brands, Barbour. In the lookbook we can see the skateboarder and designer Blondey McCoy wearing the four main pieces that make up the drop, namely, waxed cotton field jacket, fanny pack, bucket hat and cap.
Originally thought for the sailors and fishermen of the north east of England. Founded in 1984, John Barbour has kept it all in the family and passed it on for five generations. Specialized in waxed garments, they achieve a final product suitable for extreme and harsh weather conditions. Today, Barbour, is an established brand name in the fashion world and known for their wax cotton jackets, among them is their best known designs: Bedale, Beaufort and Border.
For the collaboration with Supreme, Barbour has used its exclusive waxed cotton material throughout the range, in which the Bedale-inspired jacket stands out. Everything will be available in 3 color options, black, orange and a daring leopard print.
The Supreme x Barbour collection will only be available on the Supreme web-store on May 7.
