Aimé Leon Dore is getting ready tp drop their newest collaboration with New Balance. This time the New York brand has worked on the P550 Basketball Oxford silhouette.
ALD founder Teddy Santis teased the upcoming collaboration on his Instagram. As Santis points out, the New Balance P550 is mysterious in the sense that after its debut in 1989, it has remained largely intact, and there is little information about the model.
It took us a couple of years and a lot of work to get this silhouette back,” he said on social media. “Everything about 550 and what they stood for seemed like this would be the perfect romance to activate SONNY, ALD’s grassroots basketball program.

Aimé Leon Dore’s New Balance P550 has a clean white and gray colorway, with yellowish accents that give it a vintage feel. New Balance’s signature ‘N’ branding appears on the side, while the co-branding appears on the tongue tag. Although from the photos it seems that there will also be versions with green or blue accents.
At the moment there is no information on the release date.
