When it comes to streetwear staples, few silhouettes hold the omnipresent, cultural weight of The North Face’s legendary Nuptse jacket. Yet, in an era dominated by predictable corporate collaborations and endless factory-floor restocks, Awake NY is ripping up the playbook. Teaming up with creative forces Omi and Alehsy Lambo, the New York imprint has unleashed an ultra-exclusive project featuring 50 individual Nuptse jackets, each uniquely hand-customized so that no two pieces on earth are alike.
Originally planned as an elusive, in-person-only drop for local communities, overwhelming demand prompted Awake NY to carve out an online allocation for the release.
