Mackie just confirmed that he’s taking over the role of the Disney + series, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
He confirmed this in an interview with Shadow & Act, about his participation in Altered Carbon: Season 2, in which he told that his edition of Captain America must represent everyone – not just a specific group of people.
“The United States of our time right now seems to be open to the idea of my face as a representative of the country”.
And the new series will focus on the time after Endgame, with Sam Wilson (Mackie) getting Cap Murica’s shield in his hands.
