Netflix has released a documentary about the last Blockbuster video store in the world, called “The Last Blockbuster“, the film offers a nostalgic take on the video store, with a bevy of interviews from former employees, fans, and entrepreneurs.
The documentary focuses on the last remaining Blockbuster in the world which is located in Bend, Oregon.
The Blockbuster has been celebrated by many artists in recent years.
Even Drake celebrated his 32nd birthday with an ode to the 2000s, complete with an entire Blockbuster video wall. The store itself was previously transformed into an Airbnb, allowing fans to remember how they watched TV on a sofa bed from the 90’s.
“The Last Blockbuster” premieres today, March 15 on Netflix.
