Renowned artist Daniel Arsham has just been named the Cleveland Cavaliers first creative director. This news comes shortly after the NBA announced that the upcoming 2021-2022 season will begin on December 22.
Known for his ability to modify genres through his contemporary design language, Arsham will step in to polish the visual identity of the Cavs brand. This includes putting his creative expertise to use and applying your skills to upcoming court designs, as well as creating new apparel and uniforms. He will also help redesign various public courts throughout Cleveland and provide input when needed for team graphics and video content. Arsham’s limited edition releases, partnerships with other artists, and capsule collections are expected to hit the market in the coming months.
