After eight years of introducing Kith Women to the world, founder Ronnie Fieg is shifting the brand’s creative vision towards the future of streetwear under the guidance of Daniëlle Cathari. Cathari, known for breaking gender barriers in urban fashion through acclaimed collections with adidas Originals and Clarks, is set to reinterpret Kith’s feminine legacy, shaping the identity of the new Kith girl.
The distinctive and forward-thinking approach of Cathari, who also manages her own eponymous brand, captured the brand’s attention. This collaboration marks the initiation of a joint project, coinciding with the opening of Kith’s first women’s flagship store in New York’s SoHo, returning to its roots at 644 Broadway—where Kith’s first Manhattan flagship store opened in 2011. The store, debuting on December 15, will feature Kith Women’s exclusive and multi-brand ready-to-wear apparel, accessories, and footwear, along with an immersive in-real-life experience incorporating a flower shop and café.
Assuming the role of creative director for Kith Women, Cathari will collaborate with Kith’s creative director Ronnie Fieg and the brand’s team to “define the next chapter of the brand” through upcoming collections, creative endeavors, and collaborations, with a planned launch scheduled for late 2024.
