Dave Returns with The Boy Who Played the Harp and a Stone Island Sound Collaboration

Dave, the South London lyricist who has redefined the boundaries of UK rap, is stepping into a new era. Following the seismic impact of Psychodrama and We’re All Alone In This Together, the artist now readies his third studio album, The Boy Who Played the Harp, set for release on October 24. The project arrives with heavy anticipation — not just as another record, but as the next evolution of an artist who fuses emotional truth with literary precision.

To celebrate the album, Dave has joined forces with Stone Island Sound for an intimate short film that blends fashion, music, and memory. Directed as a conversation between Dave and archivist Arco Maher, the film dives into the rapper’s personal connection to Stone Island, showcasing his collection of rare pieces and exploring how the brand’s ethos of resilience and community parallels his own artistic identity.

As part of the collaboration, Stone Island Sound has issued a limited-edition vinyl of The Boy Who Played the Harp, available exclusively through select Stone Island stores and Dave’s official website. The release acts as both a collector’s item and a symbol of how style and sound continue to intertwine in the landscape of contemporary culture.

Through this partnership, Stone Island reinforces its ongoing commitment to creativity beyond design — not only crafting technical garments, but also amplifying the voices shaping modern music and identity. And for Dave, this marks another defining moment in a career built on introspection, mastery, and the poetry of everyday life.
