Dune 2020 is gonna be a two-part franchise, and the first film will cover just over half of the legendary book from 1965.
Behind the helm of Dune (2020) we find Denis Villeneuve, the French-Canadian filmmaker best known from films such as Sicario, Arrival – and most recently Blade Runner 2049.
Dune in its new form gets a star-studded cast that includes Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Oscar Isaac, Jason Momoa, Josh Brolin and Javier Bardem, among others.
