Our Legacy x External Vacancy Travels to British Columbia

In a high-altitude handshake between fashion and exploration, Our Legacy Work Shop and External Vacancy (EVAC) have forged a collection that echoes with the rugged spirit of the British Columbia mountains. This isn’t your typical collection; it’s a tangible translation of an expedition and art project, born from the very fabric (quite literally) of Our Legacy’s leftover materials.

“This journey began with the vision of a high-altitude utopia. Collaborating with like-minded artists, we embarked on a mission to build a fortress-like space on a mountaintop in British Columbia over a period of 4 months. The construction was dictated by the environment, where rocks were our only companions. Dry stacking was employed to integrate our space seamlessly with its surroundings. It was a true test of physical and mental endurance, immersing us in the beauty and brutality of nature. The structure was conceived as a sanctuary where we could fully immerse ourselves in the present moment, living in harmony with nature for our survival,”

    – Sean Pettit, founder of External Vacancy

Think of it as a love letter to nature, stitched together with threads of adventure. The unforgiving beauty of the BC peaks becomes the muse, inspiring the meticulous selection of technical fabrics that can withstand the harshest elements. But this isn’t just about survival; it’s about style that thrives. The collection walks a tightrope between rugged functionality and undeniable flair, ensuring it can not only conquer the mountains but conquer hearts too. It’s a testament to the idea that pushing boundaries, both artistic and environmental, can result in something truly extraordinary.
