After a rich history of collaborations, most recently back in August of this year, Awake NY and ASICS have teamed up once again. This time it’s a little different though, since this marks the first time Angelo Baque, founder of Awake NY, have gotten the opportunity to design a sneaker from scratch. The result of the collaboration has been named the GEL-NYC, fusing various of GEL models, from the ASICS archives. The silhouette arrives with mesh, suede and leather on the upper and in two different colorways. One in gold, purple and grey, and the other in teal, salmon and grey.
The Awake NY x ASICS GEL-NYC will be released on early January, on the Awake NY website and stores.
