Fragment, Uber Eats Japan, and Komine Create Exclusive Rider Jacket

    written by OS Staff

Uber Eats Japan has teamed up with Hiroshi Fujiwara’s Fragment and motorcycle gear expert Komine to produce a limited-edition rider jacket that redefines the balance between style and safety. The project demonstrates how functional equipment can be elevated into high design, merging streetwear aesthetics with protective innovation.

The jacket incorporates a built-in Komine chest protector for rider security, while reflective details on the shoulders, arms, and back maximize visibility on the road. To adapt to shifting conditions, it also features a water-resistant coating and a hidden hood, making it both durable and versatile. Every aspect embodies Fujiwara’s reputation for blending practical design with refined minimalism.

Unlike conventional releases, this capsule is reserved for Uber Eats delivery partners in Japan who have achieved the highest Diamond rank. Only 300 units will be offered through a lottery, turning the jacket into both a reward for excellence and a coveted collectible. More than just outerwear, it serves as a statement about recognizing essential workers and bridging the worlds of protective gear and fashion culture.
