21 years after it first premiered, Lionsgate has given the green light for a reinterpretation of the classic cult movie American Psycho, starring Christian Bale, as a sleek serial killer who is obsessed with his own image, and directed by Mary Harron. The movie is based on Bret Easton Ellis’ 1991 novel by the same name.

So far there are no details on the project or if Christian Bale will be giving life to the psycho yuppie once more.
