The Swedish outdoors brand Fjällräven is committed to nature and the environment, and on June 8, on “Oceans Day“, the brand will release a third edition of the iconic backpack Kånken, called Kånken Art. It will be a limited collection of backpacks whose purpose is to highlight the problem of plastic in the oceans.
For the collection Fjällräven has brought in Swedish artist Linn Fritz, who has designed two versions of the backpack, inspired by the surface and the seabed, seeking to highlight the problem of plastic in the oceans.
Part of the profits will go to the Artic Fox Initiative, who will donate the profits to two organizations related to the elimination of single-use plastics and the cleaning of the oceans.
The Kånken Art 21 is made from recycled polyester and organic cotton. Furthermore, all Kånken Art products contribute to the Arctic Fox Initiative. Its G100 HeavyDuty Eco fabric is made from recycled polyester and organic cotton.
