    Carhartt WIP x Ramidus

    written by OVERSTANDARD

Carhartt WIP and the Japanese bag brand Ramidus have come together to create a collaborative collection inspired by music and skateboarding, resulting in a series of functional everyday items.

Launched in Tokyo in 2019, Ramidus draws on two decades of expertise in crafting premium bags and luggage (formerly known as Head Porter). The collection comprises nine products, all utilizing Carhartt WIP’s durable waterproof Duck Canvas and drawing inspiration from the brand’s subcultural roots. Included in the collection are spacious tote bags with multiple pockets, fanny packs, crossbody bags, and even a DJ Bag capable of holding 40 twelve-inch vinyl records. Additionally, they have reimagined the Kickflip Bag, a staple for carrying skateboards.

Each item is lined with nylon and designed with comfort and ease of use in mind. The collection features a subdued color palette of white and Hamilton Brown, complemented by a woven Carhartt WIP x Ramidus label.

Captured in Tokyo by Kento Mori, the campaign images showcase DJ Muro, skater Yuma Takei, and model Mamina Kagami.

The collection is now available for purchase on the Carhartt WIP website.
