For Spring/Summer 2025, RANRA—the Icelandic design studio—presents a collection deeply rooted in the natural spirit of Iceland and the intimate bond its people share with the land. Building upon its legacy of material and formal experimentation, the brand continues to explore the boundaries between function and nature, reinterpreting classic silhouettes through a technical and tactile lens.

This season, RANRA draws from archival military, workwear, and sportswear references, but infuses them with natural materials that defy traditional expectations. Developed in collaboration with Majocchi, the fabrics feel organic—such as silk for breathability or cotton canvas treated for water resistance—but are engineered to be highly functional. In doing so, RANRA subtly reshapes perceptions of what natural textiles can achieve in performance wear.

The SS25 collection includes lightweight outerwear, knitwear, tailoring made in Iceland, technical legwear, and accessories, all unified by a keen attention to texture, color, and craftsmanship.

Complementing the clothing, RANRA also unveils a reissue of its KALT shoe—the brand’s first in-house footwear design. Inspired by vintage climbing shoes, the KALT is tailored for Iceland’s rugged landscapes. Constructed from felted wool for flexibility and lightness, and grounded with a Vibram outsole for superior grip, it reflects the brand’s ethos of purposeful, nature-driven design.

RANRA’s SS25 offering is a quiet yet powerful statement on how technical precision, craft, and sustainability can merge to produce garments that are not only functional, but emotionally and environmentally resonant.
